Summer Solstice: A Portal of Power

The Summer Solstice is the zenith of light – the longest day, the fullest sun, the sacred pause where the earth holds its breath in golden stillness.

Falling around June 20th or 21st, it marks the peak of solar energy in the Northern Hemisphere – a time of illumination, abundance, and radiant life force.

In ancient traditions, this was a day of fire festivals, sun worship, and celebration of the light within and without. Crops flourished, spirits soared, and the sun was honoured as the great sustainer and awakener.
